What was your first job?
My first job was at a clothing boutique, Splash, in St.Louis. I was a senior in high school and I’m pretty sure I spent all the money I made at the store.

Current desktop picture?
A picture I took when I lived in Paris. It’s nothing spectacular, but it’s just a nice reminder of an amazing adventure.

Favorite youtube video?
Leprechaun in Mobile, Alabama. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly encourage taking 3 minutes to go watch it.

Tell us something surprising about yourself:
I’m a true-crime guru. I can talk unsolved mysteries and unsettling crimes for hours. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a somewhat odd fascination with true-life crime stories and the people who committed them. My go-to television shows are Notorious, Snapped, American Justice, Nancy Grace, Dateline on ID, and City Confidential.

What are your Lovemarks?
Twizzlers, BBM, Post-it notes

Favorite childhood television program?
I was never really a big cartoon or ‘kid-show’ person, but I did really enjoy watching 20/20. Every Friday night after watching the ABC TGIF line up (Family Matters, anyone?), I would curl up with my parents and watch 20/20 with Barbara Walters and Hugh Downs. And no, I’m not kidding.

What’s your favorite creative pursuit?
Interior decorating. I love exploring new options for living/work spaces. One of my favorite things to do on the weekends here is go to the Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market and shop for antiques that I can refurbish for my apartment.

What blogs/magazines/books/papers/websites can you not live without?
Apartment Therapy
Design Sponge
Le Monde
Grooveshark.com
Trendwatching.com
Learnvest.com

Book that you’re currently reading:
Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women

A guilty pleasure for me is:
I have two.

The first is holiday music. I listen to holiday music all year, but really amp it up the day after Halloween. Anything from Mariah Carey, Kenny G, Motown or  Amy Grant…I love it all!

My second guilty pleasure is the “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on Bravo. How could you resist watching a group of over-the-top, slightly delusional, fearless divas frolicking around Hotlanta, proclaiming things like, “Who gon’ check me, boo?” or “No really, I’m only 7 months pregnant…and my doctor is inducing labor next week…” (seriously?!). Exactly, you can’t.

Favorite artist/musician/designer?
I have a pretty eclectic taste in music and don’t really have a favorite musician. My musical preferences range from Luther Vandross and Anita Baker to Lady Gaga and Beyonce.

Designers: Vince Elizabeth and James, Diane von Furstenberg, Gucci

If you weren’t at Saatchi & Saatchi, what profession would you most like to try?
I think I would try being a criminal defense or a human rights attorney. Probably in Atlanta….and become the second (ie working) generation of “Real Housewives on Atlanta”

What’s the last song you listened to?
“Bound to You” by Christina Aguilera
